Waxing Tips
When waxing skis, ensure adequate ventilation and prevent solvent fumes, gases produced during wax melting, and dust generated during brushing from entering the respiratory tract. These instructions apply equally to both fluorine-free N-Kinetic products and Future Fluor products containing fluorinated compounds.
Common:
Ensure good ventilation in the waxing area.
Protect your clothing with the convenient Rex waxing apron.
Liquid waxes and Glide Cleaner:
Solvents such as Wax Remover and Glide Cleaner, as well as liquid glide waxes:
Respiratory protection: When working with larger quantities or multiple pairs of skis in a small space, use a respirator with class A2 protection (brown stripe).
Protective gloves: When using products extensively and when substances may come into contact with the skin through the cloth, hands should be protected with nitrile gloves. Nitrile gloves are thin yet durable and offer excellent chemical resistance. They are made of latex-free nitrile material.
Roto brushing / dust:
Respiratory protection: When applying glide waxes, especially when using roto brushes, protect yourself from fine brushing dust with a P2/FFP2 lightweight fiber mask.
SEye protection: Use safety goggles. Ensure the safe use of equipment, such as correctly attaching the protective cover on the roto handle.
