Snow type: mixed to old snow | Melting point: 110°C/230°F | Iron Temp 130˚C/260°F.

Glide powder for wet conditions to mild frost. Mixed with old snow. Based on a NF-level micronized Rex Power Polymers wax blend, with added extra N-Kinetic™ nanoparticles that are embedded in the surrounding powder matrix. Developed especially for wet and moist snow.

With one container of NFX powder, you can wax up to 15 pairs of skis!

Rex is the official glide wax of the United States Biathlon Association.

Application:

Application Method:

  • Iron temperature 130°C/260°F
  • Single-pass melting
  • Scrape warm 
  • Let the base cool down
  • Open the base structure with a steel brush
  • Continue with natural hair brush
  • Finish with a nylon brush

Application with Roto Merino:

  • Iron temperature 130°C/260°F
  • Single-pass melting
  • Scrape warm
  • Let the base cool down
  • Use a steel brush and create a film of dust on the ski surface with short strokes.
  • Use a roto merino wool to rebond the dust film to the ski.
  • Finish with a thorough brushing using a nylon brush.
