Tips for getting the best performance with the new TK-1814 Grip wax:

Artificial snow, hard track, minus degrees

  1. Apply 190 Base Wax
  2. Apply 4-6 layers of 115 Blue -2...-8°C kickwax depending on the ski flex. Smooth with synthetic cork between layers
  3. Apply 1-3 layers of TK-1814 kickwax. Smooth the kickwax with thumb or synthetic cork

When the basic kickwaxing is made with harder blue wax coated with soft and fast gripping TK-1814. You get fast kickwaxing with a solid grip. The hard layers of blue prevent snow crystals from penetrating too deep in to the wax and thin layer of TK-1814 gives you the solid kick needed in hard tracks.

Artificial snow, coarse snow -3...-10°C

  1. Spread the 290 Base klister evenly with a heat gun and synthetic cork
  2. Apply a layer of 205 Purple klister with a heat gun and synthetic cork
  3. Cover the waxing with TK-1814 kickwax and smooth with thumb or synthetic cork

Old coarse snow +3...-3°C >

  1. Spread the 290 Base klister evenly with a heat gun and synthetic cork

TK-1814 is a new kind of grip wax designed for the conditions that are usual in the world cup during the early season. When the snow has been brought from faraway mountains and spread with a bulldozer, this is the wax of the day.
