With the changes in courses due to the weather this year, you will only have to worry about one type of snow (man made) vs. multiple types through the entire course. This should make waxing for your race a little bit simpler. RCF Pink as an underlayer is a must, and HF31 will be great as your paraffin layer Saturday with cool overnight temperatures Saturday. HF21 will work better on Sunday with the milder conditions on Saturday. When dealing with manmade snow, the only powder to look at is 63. Designed specifically to be used for old snow and man-made snow, this powder will be perfect for the COLL. Looking for kick? Two words, Gold Klister. Oh, and TK-1814.

Saturday - 2/4

Glide

  • Undercoat: RCF Pink
  • Paraffin: HF31
  • Powder: 63
  • Top Coat: Ruka Gel

Grip

  • Binder: 290 Base Klister
  • Kick Wax: Gold Klister, TK-1814
  • Top Coat: Hydrex

Use Gold Klister as your main kicker. If you need a little bit more stick, add a layer of TK-1814 on top after the klister cools to help give you that extra cushion. Finish with Hydrex to help keep the dirt away and to also speed up the kick.

Sunday - 2/5
