Advanced Method -
- Clean:
- Apply 1 layer of Rex Glide Cleaner using Rex Cloth. Brush immediately with a steel/copper brush to clean out dirt and structure.
- Apply a second layer of Rex Glide Cleaner and let fully dry. This will act as a hardener to help increase durability of glide paraffin. Brush out with a nylon brush.
- Paraffin
- Apply 1 layer of HF41 Liquid or HF31 Block. If using liquid, be sure to let skis fully dry for at least 20 minutes prior to moving onto next step for best results.
- Once set, brush with fine steel, then stiff nylon brush.
- Powder
- For best results of the powder, crayon and hand cork TK-73 prior to burning in powder.
- Sprinkle powder of choice on ski and burn together with TK-73 block at 165 C.
- Once cooled, lightly brush up with horsehair brush, making sure to not clear any of the powder off the ski.
- Spray Hydrex 2 into the brushed up powder and slurry together using a roto-fleece.
- Brush out completely with a horsehair, then stiff nylon brush.
