The spray versions of Rex HF series gliders are very durable and also the most wax-containing liquid HF waxes on the market, and they do not need hot waxing to support their durability. The spray version also fills small imperfections in base material like hot wax, reconditions and replenishes. The Rex Future Fluor technology used in HF series is EU 2020 compliant and safer for the user and the environment.
With the ample 150 ml aerosol packaging, you can wax up to 40 skis with a single can. (188 cm skating ski)
HF41 – Taking a step ahead and breaking the boundaries set by hot waxing!
The new HF41 Spray is not limited by the requirements set by hot waxing and scraping. The Special UHW wax is only possible to apply in liquid form. Being the hardest glide wax on the market, it gives unseen performance on artificial and coarse snow, and also on cold dry snow.

HF41 is an extremely hard and wear-resistant glide wax that offers top -level performance both on cold and weary snow, and also on coarse wet snow and icy crust. Rex 2-Step Carrier™ solvent technology enables the applying of UHW™ ultra-hard glide wax, without the limitations set by hot waxing and scaping.
The special UHW™ ultra-hard polymer wax blend of HF41 is so hard that it is only possible to apply in liquid form.
For long distances and weary conditions, also great for alpine skis and snowboards, where wear resistancy is crucial.

Rex HF Hot Waxes
The story of new HF series: From 25 different Sochi Olympic test waxes to 4 commercial products.
The research and development of the new HF series began in collaboration with the Finnish National XC Ski team with a common goal: To make the ultimate HF glider for Sochi Olympics. We started with a blank canvas and completely new raw materials, and made 25 different test waxes that were tested with over 8.000 timed test runs in different conditions. Only the best waxes for each temperature range were chosen for production, and here they are! The new HF series is the first of new generation Rex gliders.
Application:
- All of the waxes are relatively hard, but their melting point is low comparet to their hardness (130-140°C)
- Melt with an iron to a clean ski base
- Scrape when the wax is still warm
- Let cool down and brush lightly with a brass or natural brush
- Finish with a nylon brush
